Held annually, the Young Musician's Competition provides an opportunity for students in grades 3-12 to perform for professional feedback. Columbus Symphony Orchestra musicians and collegiate faculty from around Ohio serve as adjudicators. The winner of the Senior Division will be the recipient of a $500 award generously donated by the CSO Women's Association and may also have the opportunity to perform with the Columbus Symphony. Students who place in either division may also have the opportunity to perform in the Ohio Theatre lobby prior to Columbus Symphony classical series concerts.
