Soprano Hélène Brunet is an emerging Canadian artist whose singing is celebrated for its "style, refinement, and purity; music that speaks without artifice."
Hélène has collaborated with reputed ensembles and orchestras, including the Orchestre Métropolitain de Montréal, Seattle Baroque Orchestra, American Bach Soloists in San Francisco, Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra, I Musici de Montréal, Ensemble Caprice, Ensemble Aradia, Thirteen Strings, Ensemble Les Boréades, Clavecin en Concert and l'Harmonie des Saisons. She has sung under such renowned conductors as Yannick Nézet-Séguin, Jean-Marie Zeitouni, Eric Milnes, Jeffrey Thomas, Kevin Mallon, Matthias Maute, Raffi Armenian, David Fallis, Ivars Taurins and Alexander Weimann.
In opera, Hélène recently sang at Versailles in Persée (Lully) with Opera Atelier and in Tel Aviv in Le Docteur Miracle (Bizet). Next November, she will be singing the role of Galatea in Handel's Acis and Galatea with ensemble Les Boréades, staged in celebration for their 20th anniversary.
Her first recording with L'Harmonie des Saisons will be released in October 2015 under ATMA label. That same month, she will be recording Bach cantatas under the same label.
