We are proud to be celebrating our 57th Anniversary season of music excellence as one of the leading youth orchestra programs in the nation. From its inception in 1955, the goal of the Columbus Symphony Youth Orchestras was, and continues to be, to expose young musicians to the highest level of orchestral music in a professional setting under the direction of experienced conductors.
The Youth Orchestra has traveled to Banff for the International Youth Orchestra Festival, Europe and most recently, China, in June, 2005. We will continue to provide stimulating musical opportunities for our members with guest artists, guest conductors and challenging music. We invite you to support our efforts and attend our concerts.
